Rematch for 8th Grade Fifers and Scots

In an exciting rematch, the Fifers and Scots had several lead changes and played to a virtual tie through three quarters before the Scots pulled away to win in the fourth. Every time the Scots started to build a lead, the short-handed Fifers answered with strong offense from Tosh Meyers, who had 18 points and 8 rebounds, Louis Kharsa with 10 points, and aggressive defense from Max Atchison and Adrian Rufo, who added 4 assists. The Scots’ offense was led by Luke Smith with a season-high 11 assists and Ben Krohn with 12 points. On defense, Liam Schindler led the Scots’ with 20 rebounds and Paul Kim fell just short of a triple-double, ending up with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 steals.
